Rights and Responsibilities of the Human Person

We all have rights and responsibilities as a person. Some of those rights include health care, family, faith, and shelter. So why do people all around the world not have those rights? The UN even has a list of universal rights. Why don't people follow that? We also have the responsibility to protect those rights for ourselves and others. So we encourage you to stand up for those rights. As Catholics we should stand up for important things like anti-abortion (the right to life), going against less health care for the elderly (right to health care), and anti-terrorism (right to life). We should protest against these things together and peacefully. A great example of responsibility is Gandhi. He protested peacefully by walking six miles to go against Viceroy because he took away India's freedom of speech and religion. Be like Gandhi. Protest peacefully.
