We Are The World

I'm sure that most people have already seen this but it is a great example of a couple Catholic Social Teachings. It definitely portrays solidarity. All of the singers came together singing the same song for the same cause. That shows solidarity because they all came together in one group which is pretty much what solidarity means. Some ways we can maybe show solidarity in our communities or schools would be to come together and spread Jesus' love. Another way could be you can just stay together and not fade apart. In the song it says "we are the future". That means that the children of today are the future for the world. If they continue with portraying solidarity the world will be a better place. I think this song is a perfect example for solidarity because different musicians that have different styles of music like country, rap, pop and many more came together for the same cause. People of different race and nationality. People of different age like some of the newer artists for example Justin Bieber, and some of the older artists like Janet Jackson and many more people. We are the world!
