Life and Dignity of the Human Person

Life is important because it's a gift from God. Since we are all in God's family, it should not matter what race, nationality, gender, or sexual preference you are. We should not discriminate or judge others. World leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr, help fight for this cause. He wrote speeches, led marches, and he had a dream that blacks and whites could be equal. Even today there are organizations that fight the same cause. The PDHRE works towards the rights and human dignity of minorities.

We are all worth the same amount because we are all made in the image of God. It is said in the Bible that Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God. Starting from the time we are conceived to the time we are dead, we all have the same human dignity. Dignity is our idea that we all deserve respect. We do deserve respect, to be treated fairly, and to be treated equally. From unborn babies to elderly patients in hospitals we all need that dignity. So, since we are all the same, spread the word about equal treatment, human dignity, and life!

  1. You are spot on. We are all equal, and we forget that a lot of times. We are all mad in God's image, and no one person is better than any other. I like that you mentioned Martin Luther King Jr., because he is a huge figure for equality. We, all being sons and daughters on Adam and Eve, should treat others with the respect that they deserve as our equal.

  2. I think if Martin Luther King Jr didn't help fight this cause. Then the world would of been different today. It is because of him that black and white are equal. It is true that everyone have same human dignity. -Han Vu

  3. You're right on the spot. we forget sometimes that God made us in his own image and doesn't care what color, race,or sex that we are. To him we are all equal and you guys stepped up big by reminding us about that again.
